The Disappearing Boy Returns

Oh my GOD have I been busy. I've been working until 8:30 or 9 PM everynight for the past 2 weeks, including weekends. I've tried to squeeze in a show here and there, but most of the time, I just head home, eat, and fall asleep. I haven't even been able to muster up the strength to play Warcraft too much (like, maybe once or twice a week). *sigh*

So, yeah, that's why I haven't been updating lately. This has been the first chance where I could take a breather here at work to post something. I don't know if you saw, but a new trailer aired on the television for my movie this past Sunday, and it's now up at Apple's Quicktime website. We've been rushing to get that done, as well as an international version that goes up in a little bit, plus our first full screening (in color too!) this weekend for the employees. No, it's not done. Not even close. But this is a chance for the filmmakers to get an audience reaction to the entire thing and finally get a chance to see how the animation is turning out.

No, you can't come. I can't even bring Liz.

Speaking of Liz, some of you may be curious as to how I handled my first ever Valentine's Day with a girl. Well, to put it bluntly, I fucked up. I didn't get Liz anything or do anything special with her. No dinner, no chocolate, no flowers, no card.

Yes, she's still dating me.

She was understandably sad and later upset at my dismissiveness in regards to the holiday. We had a discussion about why I didn't do anything other than to wish her a happy Valentine's Day (I don't really feel like going through it here...let's just blame my parents), and she understood where I was coming from. I apologized all over the place and two days later got her a nice bouquet of flowers.

Hey, the Oscars are this weekend, aren't they?
