Hair Today...

I must have slept only on the right side of my face last night, because when I woke up this morning, I had total Flock of Seagulls hair. Like, three-quarters of my hair, starting at the part on the right and going all the way left, just fell normally, fairly unmussed, with the bangs slightly covering my forehead. But the one-quarter on the right side stood straight up, as if a peacock had taken up residence there and was fanning it's butt-plumage above my right ear.

That was amusing.

Less amusing are the single white strand of hair fighting its way, front and center, to the fore of my hairline; and the thinning that's occurring behind it. I'm getting old, I guess. The white hair is the first one that I've noticed on my head, but the clearcutting of follicles is something that's been slowly going on for some time. Anyone have haircare tips to slow down the deforestation? Or should I just start shaving it?
