G.B.U. again

The good- Kyler, Adrianne, Sylvie Lewis, and Kristen Cifelli playing a show together at the Room 5 Lounge on Sunday. A reunion of sorts for these four Berklee alums, the audience itself was probably comprised of at least 70% Berklee grads as well. The girls were dynamite, and the backup harmonies they provided each other made the songs really shine. I love love love these girls. *sigh* the talent they have...it's weird, but while I was sitting in the audience, I was enraptured and happy as a clam; as soon as the show was over, I was sad and part of me wanted to jump out the window. Why? Some of it was that whole Christmas-post-present-opening -letdown-depression you get, but most of it was because their brilliance made me feel so stupid and unevolved and unworthy in comparison.

The Bad- I watched Team America:World Police a few nights ago with Matt. Some parts were so bad they were funny, some parts were just plain bad. I laughed really hard throughout the movie, but in a sporadic fashion, and it certainly didn't sustain its humor or entertainment level as well as The Incredibles.

The Ugly- After last night's episode, I totally understand if some of you choose not to watch the show anymore. And I also totally understand if some of you choose not to speak to me anymore. I know Tony isn't pleased with me and the way the show ended.
But, we did get picked up for a second season, so, yay for us!
