September 28, 2004 - 1:45 PM Strict Schedule Stupefies Interesting. I haven't been to one concert this month. I've missed out on Phantom Planet playing with the Like, Frente! (reunited!), Vienna Teng, Butterfly Boucher, and Keane. I'll make up for it this week, though. Tonight, I'll be seeing old friends Kyler and Sylvie Lewis at Obrien's in Santa Monica; Wednesday night it's either indienight with Saucy Monky at the Hotel Cafe or Kyler again, this time at Room 5; and Saturday is a return engagement by Sylvie to the Hotel Cafe. Next Tuesday are a confluence of concerts, but only one choice for me since the Cake show at the Roxy, starting off a worldwide tour in support of their latest release, is sold out; Snow Patrol at the Avalon is also sold out; and The Section Quartet doing their arrangement of Radiohead's OK Computer is not sold out. Oh, and in case anyone was wondering, here's a schedule of what I'll be watching on the TV this fall. It's scary, so you might want to send the kids out of the room before you scroll any further. Sunday: Monday: Tuesday: Wednesday: Thursday: Friday: Of course, a number of these shows might not pan out, might...strike that...will get cancelled, or I might just decide that tv is bad for me and I need to be more constructive with my time. Heh. Heh heh heh. Right. A handful of conflicting timeslot shares there. Now Listening To : Big Audio Dynamite-The Globe Random Thought : Will I be able to do one entry a day, every day this week? Stay tuned! What I Just Wrote Before - What I'm About to Write
