10.1 Unrelated Musings

-93% Humidity. 90+ degrees Fahrenheit. And yet, it still doesn't suck as bad as the East Coast. East Coast humidity is like an old European grandmother: big and smothering. West Coast humidity is that grandmother's kerchief.

-You know what I like about this diary thing? It's got me writing again. I haven't done consistent, semi-creative writing since I took that lyric-writing course in college. I hope I get gooder at it.

-WHAT THE FUCK IS SO FUCKING LOUD OUTSIDE?! SHIT IT'S LIKE A GODDAMN TANK IS ROLLING AROUND! SHUT UP!! Oh, it's just a stupid police helicopter, doing doughnuts in the air above the studio. GO THE FUCK AWAY!

-Feel free to censor the above selection when reading this entry to your children before bedtime.

-My friend N is having a big ol' party at his place Saturday afternoon-stumbling-into-the-evening-throwing-up-all-over-the-night. C'mon down! One of his friends from Maryland is visiting, and N's decided to cook up a feast, a banquet, a delicious buffet. Bring some al-key-hall if you wish.

-Erin McKeown is playing at the prestigious Largo next Tuesday. Barring work-related entanglements, I'll do my best to get in for the show.

-Gosh I really like Gilmore Girls. And, gosh, I really hate Jess. I can only say "thank god" that he was written off the show into a spin-off that got bogged-down.

-Concupiscient. What a funny word. Hee hee.

-I'm going to have to get a cellphone right soon. Anyone have any suggestions, warnings, praises for any service provider or plan in particular? Anything I should be wary of?

-Mosquitos. No Mosquitos in L.A. Take THAT, you stupid East Coasters. thhhbbbbpt.
